Biography

Liu Zhongshan works in the Department of Burns and Plastic Surgery, Affiliated Hospital of Guizhou Medical University, as Deputy Director, Chief Physician, Ph.D. in Plastic Surgery, Professor, and Supervisor of Doctoral and Master's Postgraduate Students. He has served as principal investigator of 1 National Natural Science Foundation of China project and has published more than 20 papers in SCI-indexed and core journals. Research directions: facial rejuvenation; basic research and clinical application of stem cells.

Specialties:
1. Congenital and acquired defects and deformities: congenital cleft lip; ear plastic surgery (reconstruction of congenital microtia, prominent ear, cryptotia, cup ear); ptosis, torticollis, polydactyly, syndactyly, etc.; repair of scar deformities of the face and neck, trunk, and limbs;
2. Breast plastic surgery: autologous fat injection for breast augmentation, breast reduction and mastopexy, breast implant replacement, removal/repair of artificial injectable materials from the breast, correction of various deformities after breast surgery, correction of inverted nipples, breast reconstruction, etc.;
